With “In The Sunshine” the New Zealand musician Jonathan Bree presents a chanson that has fallen out of time. In the tradition of a Serge Gainsbourg, Bree’s baritone voice floats over an orchestral musical accompaniment.
The idyllic music video shows the always masked Bree fishing in the evening. The clip was shot on a small island off the main island of New Zealand. It was directed by Bree’s musical companion and label partner Chelsea Nikkel aka Princess Chelsea.
Bree’s new album “After The Curtains Close” will be released on July 17th on Bree’s own label Lil’ Chief Records.
